Discovering the Best of Coffee & Plant in Nairobi

Discovering the Best of Coffee & Plant in Nairobi

As I strolled down General Mathenge Road in Nairobi, I found myself drawn into Coffee & Plant, a hidden gem known for its vibrant atmosphere and unique offerings. I visited during a sunny afternoon, ready to indulge in some specialty coffee and plant-based delights.

While browsing the menu, I was thrilled by the wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options available. I decided to try their renowned mocha and the comforting hug in a mug, both of which are highly praised items. I must say, the flavors were exceptional, and each sip of the mocha felt like a warm embrace on a cool day. My visit wouldn’t be complete without diving into one of their gluten-free desserts; I went for the chocolate cake, which was rich yet satisfying.

  • Great service that made me feel welcomed!
  • The ambience is perfect for a cozy meal or a meeting.
  • Wonderful breakfast options tailored specifically for vegetarians and vegans.

I was particularly impressed with the friendly staff. One waiter, whose name I believe was Moses, noticed I wasn’t completely satisfied with the spiced coffee I ordered. Without me having to ask, he swiftly replaced it with something more to my taste, showcasing their commitment to customer satisfaction. It’s moments like these that leave a lasting impression and make a café truly special.

The ambience in Coffee & Plant is another highlight. The layout allows for a sense of privacy, making it an ideal spot for conversations, whether with friends or a business partner. I could easily see why many people choose to come back here time and again.

What I particularly loved was the fresh and vibrant taste of the dishes. Every bite of my gluten-free dessert complemented the gentle sweetness of my mocha. For those interested in healthy options, I highly recommend trying their za’atar cashew cheese. It’s excellent and allows vegans to enjoy a creamy texture without dairy! And all of this was at a reasonable price point, which is hard to find in Nairobi.

As I sat in this warm and welcoming café, I realized that Coffee & Plant is more than just a place to grab coffee; it is a community hub centered around sustainability and wellness. If you’re in the area and looking for a great meal or a quick coffee fix, I can’t recommend it highly enough. I left the café feeling relaxed and delighted, already planning my next visit to explore more of their fantastic menu.
