Last weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting Artcaffe To-Go Hillview located at Shell Petrol Station in Karai, Karagita, Kenya. I arrived around 4 PM and was instantly drawn in by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The cozy bakery and coffeeshop bar had the perfect vibe to unwind after a long day.
As I stepped inside, the scent of freshly baked goods wafted through the air, making it impossible to resist sampling one of their delicious offerings. After glancing at the menu, I decided to order their famous Chocolate Croissant priced at just KES 150, paired with a hot Latte for KES 300.
The barista was incredibly welcoming, and I struck up a nice conversation with her, who I learned was named Aisha. She shared a bit about her passion for crafting the perfect coffee and also recommended trying their daily special, which was a delightful Carrot Cake for KES 250.
I found a cozy little corner to sit and enjoy my treats. The croissant was flaky and buttery, filled with rich chocolate that melted in my mouth with each bite. My latte was perfectly brewed, with a creamy texture that complimented the sweetness of the croissant beautifully. Aisha’s care in preparing the drinks was evident, and it truly elevated my experience.
As I savored my afternoon snack, I took a moment to soak in the ambiance. Soft music played in the background as other patrons enjoyed their meals. I overheard someone raving about their Chicken Caesar Salad, which I must try on my next visit. The refreshing drinks also caught my attention; I noticed others sipping colorful juices that looked delightfully refreshing.
The exceptional warmth of the staff, coupled with the inviting décor of Artcaffe To-Go, really made my visit special. Aisha's friendly demeanor and recommendations made me feel right at home. I left feeling satisfied not only from the delectable food but also from the wonderful service.
