As I stepped inside, the inviting aroma of fresh pastries greeted me. The ambiance was warm and cozy, perfect for a relaxing meal or a quick coffee break. I decided to order their renowned chocolate croissant priced at only KES 250, along with a homemade creamy mushroom soup for KES 300. Little did I know, I was about to embark on a flavor adventure!
The croissant was a delightful getaway, flaky on the outside and wonderfully rich and gooey on the inside, bursting with decadent chocolate. Each bite was a testament to the quality ingredients that The Daily Cafe prides itself on. The mushroom soup, on the other hand, was a creamy dream. It was the perfect complement to the croissant, with a hint of garlic and herbs that tantalized my taste buds.
While enjoying my meal, I had the pleasure of being served by James, one of the warmest waiters I’ve encountered in Nairobi. He was attentive without being intrusive, checking in to ensure my meal was up to my expectations. His recommendations were spot on, adding to the overall fantastic experience.
After savoring my meal, I couldn’t resist picking up a slice of their freshly baked carrot cake, which was highly recommended by a friend for KES 350. Trust me, if you are a fan of moist, flavorful cakes, this one should not be missed! The frosting was just the right amount of sweet, making it a perfect ending to my visit.
