Last Friday evening, I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Kalamata Restaurant & Bar located on James Gichuru Road, Nairobi. This delightfully chic eatery offers an exquisite taste of the Mediterranean, infusing Greek gastronomy with a stylish, contemporary vibe. As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted by an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal.
I arrived around 7 PM and was immediately seated by a friendly attendant named George, who was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu offerings. He recommended the Seafood Platter priced at KSh 2,800, which is a must-try for anyone looking to savor an array of fresh seafood.
Alongside the platter, I decided to order their famous Mezze Spread at KSh 1,500. The combination of creamy hummus, tangy tzatziki, and warm pita bread was nothing short of heavenly! Each bite transported me deeper into the Mediterranean, making it a true culinary experience.
The Seafood Platter arrived beautifully presented, showcasing a mouth-watering assortment of grilled prawns, calamari, and fish.
