An Exquisite Italian Feast at La Casa Di Nico Ristorante

Last Saturday evening, I had the pleasure of dining at La Casa Di Nico Ristorante, located in The Village Market. As someone who enjoys exploring authentic Italian cuisine, I was eager to see what this charming restaurant and wine bar had to offer. I must say, the experience far exceeded my expectations!

Upon entering, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly ambience that instantly made me feel welcomed. The staff was attentive, and our waiter, Marco, was particularly delightful. He expertly guided us through their menu, recommending some of their signature dishes.

We decided to start with the Spaghetti Carbonara, a classic dish that I absolutely adore. For just Ksh 1,700, it was a generous portion cooked to perfection. The creamy texture of the sauce paired beautifully with the savory notes of white wine, creating a rich flavor that left me craving more. Here’s a glimpse of what it looked like:

For my main course, I opted for the Linguine Allo Scoglio – another delightful dish that transported me straight to the shores of Italy. Priced at Ksh 2,200, this linguine came topped with fresh seafood and a touch of white wine, making it a perfect choice for seafood lovers. Every bite was a testament to the chef’s dedication to quality ingredients and authentic preparation.

As we were indulging in our meal, I couldn’t resist ordering a side of their Paccheri al Salmone, which was equally impressive. Also at Ksh 2,200, this pasta featured a luscious salmon sauce that delighted my taste buds.

After such a fulfilling meal, it was still hard to say no to dessert. We capped off our evening with their homemade gelato, which was the perfect sweet ending to an indulgent dining experience.

With a vibrant atmosphere, excellent service courtesy of Marco, and a menu that offers amazing value for money, I highly recommend La Casa Di Nico Ristorante for anyone in the area looking to enjoy genuine Italian cuisine. If you’re around The Village Market, don’t miss the chance to step into this little slice of Italy!
