Last week, I decided to treat myself to a delightful afternoon at Cafe AMKA, located on Waiyaki Way, Nairobi. I had heard great things about this place and was looking forward to experiencing it firsthand.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by an inviting ambience that was both cozy and vibrant. The decor was charming, making it a perfect spot for relaxation or casual meetings. Despite my initial expectations, the experience surpassed them entirely.
I ordered the highly recommended Chicken Katsu, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing! The dish was beautifully presented, flavorful, and filling without breaking the bank. The quality of the food was impressive and definitely provided great value for money, which is often hard to find in CBD.
I was lucky enough to have Lillian Omarito as my server. Her attentive service truly made my visit memorable. Even when my day had started off on the rockier side, her kindness and professionalism helped turn it around. She kept checking on me to ensure everything was perfect, which I greatly appreciated.
To complement my meal, I also tried the Fusion Tea. It was refreshing and the perfect accompaniment to my Chicken Katsu, enhancing the overall dining experience. Cafe AMKA offers a diverse menu that caters to all tastes, and I found myself eager to return to try other options, like their delicious breakfast croissants and the customizable Build Your Own Smoothie!
