An Unforgettable Nyama Choma Experience at Roasters Inn

Last Saturday evening, I had the pleasure of visiting Roasters Inn, the renowned nyama choma haven located on Garden Estate Road. As a connoisseur of grilled meats, my experience at this hidden gem was nothing short of spectacular. Upon arrival, the inviting aroma of succulent roasting meats drew me in like a moth to a flame.

I arrived just after 6 PM and was instantly welcomed by the warmth of the staff. The ambiance was cozy, with rustic decor that perfectly complemented the grilling theme. My waiter, David, approached with a friendly smile and immediately made me feel at home. His recommendations came highly appreciated as he suggested I try their famous nyama choma platter, priced at a very reasonable Ksh 1,200.

As I waited for my food, I couldn't help but notice the enthusiasm of fellow diners around me, all enjoying their meals with visible delight. The chatter and laughter added to the lively atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for both family gatherings and casual meet-ups with friends.

When my platter finally arrived, I was blown away by the sheer size and presentation. The grilled meat was served alongside a generous portion of ugali and a side of kachumbari that burst with fresh flavors. The nyama choma was cooked to perfection; it was juicy, tender, and had a delightful smokiness that only the best grilling can achieve. I savored every bite, relishing the combination of flavors that made each mouthful a treat.

What impressed me even further were the accompanying dips, which lifted the grilled meat experience to another level. I especially loved the spiced salsa that David suggested. It added a vibrant kick to the already delicious platter.

To wrap up my meal, I couldn't resist checking out their desserts. I opted for the chocolate lava cake, and I was so glad I did. It was rich, gooey, and absolutely divine at just Ksh 400. It felt like the perfect end to my dining experience.

After feasting to my heart's content, I took a moment to reflect on the overall experience: great food, friendly service, and an atmosphere that almost felt like home. I highly recommend visiting Roasters Inn if you're around Garden Estate Road, especially if you're a fan of perfectly grilled meats. David and his team ensured that my evening was memorable, and I look forward to my next visit.

If you're ever visiting this spot, do yourself a favor and order the nyama choma platter! I promise you won't regret it!
