Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of visiting Cake City Karen C located at BBS Mall on Muratina Street in Nairobi, Kenya. It was around 3 PM when I arrived, and I was immediately drawn in by the inviting aroma of fresh pastries and the vibrant display of beautifully decorated cakes.
I was on a mission to find the perfect treat for an upcoming gathering, and Cake City did not disappoint. After browsing through their impressive selection, I decided to try a classic Cake and a box of assorted Cookies. The staff were incredibly friendly, and a lovely attendant named Sarah helped me choose the flavors, recommending the chocolate chip cookies and a vanilla buttercream cake.
Let me tell you, the Cake was an absolute showstopper!
You can see in the photo above that it was not only visually appealing but also moist and rich. It cost KSh 1,200, which I deemed quite reasonable for such a quality product.
The Cookies, on the other hand, were a delightful addition to my purchase. Each cookie was perfectly baked, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My guests devoured them in no time! Just at KSh 500 for a box, they are excellent value for money!
Not only did I savor the items I bought, but the ambiance of the bakery itself was remarkable. The decor was cozy, making it an ideal spot for anyone wanting to enjoy a slice of cake paired with coffee.
