Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at La Casa Di Nico Ristorante, located in The Village Market, and I must say, it was a delightful culinary experience! On a Saturday evening, around 7 PM, the restaurant buzzed with a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it perfect for a cozy night out.
As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the friendly staff, and our lovely waiter, Marco, ensured we felt right at home. The décor was charmingly Italian, with a blend of contemporary style and rustic elements that made for an enticing dining atmosphere.
We started our meal with their renowned Spaghetti Carbonara priced at Ksh 1700. This dish was expertly crafted with creamy sauce and a hint of white wine, perfectly coating the al dente spaghetti. It was rich and decadent, certainly a dish I would recommend to anyone!
Next, we indulged in the Linguine Allo Scoglio for Ksh 2200. The flavors of fresh seafood tossed with linguine in a delicate white wine sauce took my taste buds on a delicious journey. It was both hearty and packed with flavor, showcasing the quality of their ingredients.
For our final course, we couldn’t resist trying the Paccheri al Salmone, also priced at Ksh 2200. This pasta was a generous serving of smoky salmon paired beautifully with the right balance of cream and white wine, making it an absolute must-try!
Every dish we savored celebrated the essence of traditional Italian cuisine while being remarkably well-priced for the high quality and generous portions. The ambience, delightful service from Marco, and exquisite food made the overall experience truly memorable.
And let’s not forget their homemade gelato! Although we were quite full, we couldn’t leave without having a scoop. The gelato was creamy, rich, and the perfect sweet finish to our meal.
