Discover the Best Tappi in Nairobi at Droppy

On a sunny afternoon in Nairobi, I found myself craving something new and adventurous. That’s when I stumbled upon Droppy, a charming tappi merchant known for delicious and unique flavors. As I entered the cozy establishment, the aroma of freshly made tappi enveloped me, making my stomach growl with anticipation.

I had heard raving reviews about Droppy’s offerings, particularly their classic Spicy Beef Tappi, which is priced at a reasonable KES 200. The beef was marinated to perfection, boasting just the right amount of spices that danced on my palate. I could see why customers were coming back for more. One customer mentioned that it was “the best they’ve ever tasted,” and I have to agree!

While enjoying my meal, I couldn’t help but notice the friendly staff who were dedicated to providing excellent service. A shoutout goes to Faith, one of the waiters who was particularly attentive. She made sure my order was correct and even suggested I try the Vegetarian Tappi as a side. I’m grateful for her recommendation because the Vegetable Tappi, loaded with locally sourced veggies, was a burst of flavor and only cost KES 150. Their commitment to using fresh ingredients really shows in the taste.

The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a casual lunch or a quick bite after work. The interior of Droppy was adorned with local artwork that truly captures the essence of Nairobi. I sat by the window, enjoying the view of bustling city life while indulging in my tasty meal.

Later, as I savored the last bites of my meal, I couldn’t resist the offer of dessert. I decided to try the Mango Tappi for a sweet finish, priced at only KES 100. This sweet treat was a delightful blend of ripe mangoes and subtly sweet dough - a perfect conclusion to my lunch experience.

Overall, my visit to Droppy was nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of delicious tappi, refreshing service, and the lively ambiance made it a perfect spot to unwind. If you’re ever in Nairobi, I highly recommend stopping by Droppy to grab your own tappi – you won’t regret it!

Please make sure to check their hours; I visited around 1 PM, and the place was buzzing with happy customers. With low prices and great flavor, Droppy is a hidden gem in Nairobi’s food scene!
