The moment I stepped into Mama Ashanti, I was enveloped by the enchanting aromas of traditional dishes. It was truly a feast for the senses. I was fortunate to be served by the lovely Martha, whose warm personality and attentive service made me feel right at home. Her care for the customers was evident and added to the delightful experience.
Now, let’s talk about the food! I started my meal with the Grilled Fish with Rice and Spinach Sauce, a dish that has become a staple at Mama Ashanti. The fish was grilled to perfection, with a smoky taste that beautifully complemented the rich rice and spinach sauce. 
It was simply divine!
Then came my main dish, the Jollof Spaghetti. I have to say, it was an explosion of flavors! The spaghetti was cooked al dente, and the jollof sauce infused it with a richness that made every bite enjoyable. I can't help but echo what others have said; this jollof is a true masterpiece—both deep and smoky in flavor. 
It was worth every shilling!
The ambience also deserves a mention; the music was just right, enhancing the entire experience while not overwhelming the conversations at our table. The setting was relaxing, making it easy to unwind.
For dessert, I indulged in their Nigerian Food Platter, which brought together various flavors, giving me a taste of multiple dishes all at once. It was such a satisfying way to end my meal. 
What stood out was not just the food, but the excellent service. Martha checked on us regularly and made sure our experience was nothing short of perfect. Her genuine care felt like that of a friend, adding a personal touch that can be hard to find in many dining establishments.
