Last weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to experience the vibrant heart of Nairobi at the Sheratton Regency Hotel, located along Ronald Ngala Street. The moment I stepped into this stylish haven, I could feel the welcoming services radiating from the staff. It was around 6 PM when I arrived, and I was immediately impressed by the clean and appealing facility.
One of the highlights of my visit was the Kuku Kienyeji, a traditional Kenyan dish that managed to capture the essence of home cooking. The moment I took a bite, I understood why one reviewer exclaimed they just had the best Kuku Kienyeji! The flavors were rich, reminiscent of home-cooked meals, and it was undoubtedly worth every bit of the price. Just as someone mentioned, “the food is on👌,” I couldn't have agreed more.
The ambiance of the hotel is truly captivating. Not only is the decor stylish, but it also exudes a comforting vibe that makes you want to stay longer. While relishing my Kuku Kienyeji, I took a moment to appreciate the exceptional service provided by Gloria, our waiter. Her warm smile and prompt assistance truly elevated my dining experience. Interestingly, one regular customer expressed their long-term satisfaction, stating, “I have been a customer for quite some time... their services are super notch, food is sweet.” How accurate that is!
After my satisfying dinner, I felt it was time to unwind a bit, so I decided to explore some of the hotel’s amenities. I noticed they are committed to hygiene, which was apparent in every corner of the establishment. The cleanliness of the rooms and shared areas was commendable. Plus, security was tight, giving me peace of mind during my visit. One guest even remarked on the wonderful security and clean rooms, adding to the overall positive vibe.
While everything was fantastic, I couldn’t help but think of a suggestion made by another reviewer regarding adding kettles for coffee in the rooms. This small touch would certainly enhance the experience for future guests. Nevertheless, my time at Sheratton Regency left me eager to return. I left feeling satisfied and inspired, just as another guest mentioned, expressing their desire to visit again.
